Sharis Rhodes is a mother who has used the county programs, a former homeless, a former foster youth and a success story of the Department of Children and Family Services. She believes that “if you have not experienced the problems that LA county is combatting, then how can you solve it?”
The 2nd District of the LA County encompasses:
Inglewood, Culver City, Carson, Compton, Lynwood, Lawndale, Hawthorne and portions of Los Angeles including Crenshaw district and Unincorporated areas.
